Bein' the Momma Bear

This week I am going to be a little out of it, because I'm getting things ready for the monsters to go out of state for a month and a half on summer visitation with their father. It's an extremely stressful, heart wrenching time for me. I would like nothing better than to stomp around like the Momma bear I am, and declare "Ain't gonna happen!" But I can't.

I'd love to hear how other custodial parents cope through summer visitation. It never gets easier for me, and I worry the whole time they are gone, for a multitude of very good reasons.
