Every once in a while, I have wacky ideas. Okay, I have wacky ideas on a daily basis, but that's beside the point. This month is a special one for me, since it's the month that really kick starts the holiday season, and the air turns crisp and electric with anticipation. I LOVE this time of year. I begin thinking of all the things I am grateful for, like the phenomenal progress Logan is making, and appreciating small things that I never thought about before. For example, every milestone Logan conquers is a gift. Every new thing he learns, new word he uses, every new activity that makes his eyes light up... these are all gifts. But now, with the incredible response I have had from all of YOU with the blog... I am thankful even more for all the phenomenal parents out there that have special kids. Y'all have taught me more than I ever could have learned on my own about diet, therapy, ways to incorporate new things into sensory diets, and the MOST important thing, you've taught me not to sweat the small stuff and to really celebrate the big stuff.
So. (This is the exciting part!!!) In keeping with the "attitude of gratitude".... I'm introducing a shiny new feature of LwL, and I hope y'all like it. How this works is, readers will post a comment below, telling me what their special needs child(ren) have taught them. THEN. On the 20th of this month, we'll have a drawing. The winner will be featured on LwL.
Here's how to enter:
*post a comment about what your special needs child has taught you. Make sure to include a valid email address at the end, so we can contact you!
* the winner will be contacted via email for an interview with frazzledmomma -and- Bubbe
*the first week of December, the interview will be posted here on LwL for everyone to read.
If this is successful, we'll consider making this a regular monthly occurrence... much like other things in life that aren't as pleasant..... ;)
